That’s why, at Scott’s Grooming, it is important to us to get to know both our pet parents and their furry friends. For our pet parents, we will always take the time to discuss what is important for you at each grooming appointment and find out if there are any lifestyle changes that may affect your fur-baby’s grooming needs. For our furry friends, we are always watching for their visual and vocal clues that will help us to understand which grooming techniques work best to make them relaxed and happy. And yes, there is always time to play and for a good roughing up of the fur!

Our owner, Scott Stepaniak, is a 2013 graduate of the prestigous Dogs’ Own Grooming School in Loveland, CO and was personally trained by Nationaly Certified Master Groomer, Ms. Jennifer Smith. For the past 6 years Scott has managed 2 different grooming salons, one located in Denver, CO and the other in KC, MO. Under Scott’s leadership both salons tripled their business and Scott had clientele who would routinely make a 50 mile commute to bring their fur-babies for grooming appointments.
Let Our Home Be Your New Grooming Home
In the Fall of 2020 Scott opened Scott’s Grooming by remodeling a part of his home into a full service grooming salon. We have the same quality equipment you would expect to see in any grooming salon but without the overhead of renting a business location. This move allows us to focus on the relationships and the quality of the grooming experience without the pressure to be a high volume salon.
We might be new to Lee’s Summit but we are not new to dog grooming. We have the experience, skills, and patience required to make every groom a quality groom.
